Remembering Our Fallen.mov
Remembering Our Fallen is a stark reminder of the ultimate sacrifice made by 136 Missourians killed in The War on Terror while wearing our country's uniform in a war zone. The photo display, which includes photos of each of Missouri's Fallen, will be traveling throughout Missouri and will be in Lebanon from May 16 to May 22 at the Kenneth E. Cowan Civic Center.
Remembering Our Fallen will be on display from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except Sunday. An opening community ceremony will be conducted on at 11 a.m. on May 18. There is no admission charge.
The photo exhibit was unveiled last July at the State Capitol Rotunda in Jefferson City, at which time the families of Missouri's Fallen were some of the first to see the display. The exhibit was created by Bill & Evonne Williams of Patriotic Productions, Omaha, and is sponsored by Bellevue University. The American Legion of Missouri and the VFW of Missouri have both endorsed the project, realizing the importance of remembering those who are willing to sacrifice all.
The display is sponsored locally by Friends of the Fort.
