Five suspects, including three juveniles, are in custody today after causing damage to dozens of vehicles Friday evening.

Two 17-year-olds Austin Gene Cannon and Luther Edward Nugent, both of Lebanon, have each been charged with three counts of a class C felony of tampering in the first degree for slashing tires on three different vehicles, according to a probable cause statement released by the Laclede County Prosecuting Attorney’s office.

Cannon and Nugent are being held in the Laclede County Jail in lieu of a $1,000 cash or $25,000 surety bond each. No court dates had been set as of press time today.

Three juveniles, two 15-year-old boys and a 12-year-old boy, have also been connected to the crime and are in the custody of juvenile officials.
