Parents and vendors alike are asked to remember that it’s almost time for the Back to School Fair.

This year’s fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Aug. 8 at the Mills Center. The Free Store Ministry and Salvation Army are partnering to organize the event.

Any vendor or service organization wishing to set up a booth can call Amber Meredith at 664-2290 for more information.

MOCA has organized a back to school fair in the past but won’t be doing one this year.

“We are tying to put together a replacement back-to-school fair. I know it won’t come anywhere near replacing MOCA’s,” said Meredith.

She said The Free Store was planning a school supply distribution day anyway, and when she saw how upset some people were when they learned there would not be a fair, she and her board decided to organize one.
