After receiving six fraudulent credit/debit card transaction reports in just 48 hours, the Laclede County Sheriff’s Office issued a warning to the public to keep an eye on their accounts.

“We are requesting Laclede County citizens to check their debit and credit card transactions closely. We also ask that you use caution while making purchases online,” said Sheriff Wayne Merritt. The six reports, where were made between Thursday and Friday, were all from accounts that use Shazaam card services, which are used by several local banks in Lebanon, Merritt added.
