Kevin E. Thygesen, 53, of Lebanon, died Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, in Springfield.
He was born July 13, 1960, in Audubon, Iowa, to Wayne and Phyllis Miller Thygesen.
He was a mechanic.
Survivors include his parents, Wayne and Phyllis Thygesen; a son, Travis Thygesen and his wife, Sarah, of Lebanon; a daughter, Amanda Thygesen and her special friends, Steven and Kaiden, of Rolla; a brother, Kirk Thygesen and his wife, Lorri, of the state of Iowa; three sisters, Kim Cansler and her husband, Tony, of the state of Iowa; Kay Thygesen, of Lebanon, and Korrie Helling and her husband, Brad, of Mexico, Mo.; two grandchildren, Ashtyn Butcher and Wesley Thygesen; a special companion, Rosie Eady and her family, also of Lebanon; also other relatives and many dear friends.
A Celebration of Life visitation for Kevin E. Thygesen will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
There will be no burial. At his request, his body is to be cremated under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
Memorials have been suggested to Kevin’s grandchildren’s education fund and donations can be left at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
