Floyd James White, 56, of Lebanon, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2012 in Springfield.
He was born Aug. 14, 1956, in Aurora, Mo., to Wilburn and Hazel Cloud White.
On July 23, 1977 he married Debra Kelton.
He was the driver of bus No. 37 and had been a bus driver for 18 years.
He was preceded in death by his father and his father-in-law, Clyde Kelton.
He is survived by his wife, Debra White; a son, Trent Shepherd of Springfield; his mother, Hazel White of Aurora, Mo.; a brother, Kenneth Dale White of Columbia, S.C.; his mother-in-law, Leta Kelton of Aurora; his sister and brother-in-law, Denise and Kevin Bunn of Wellington, Kan.; also other relatives.
Funeral services for Floyd James White will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
Burial will be in Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to the national (Lebanon) Humane Society or to the American Cancer Society, and donations may be left at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
