Eight years ago, Pastor Mike and Connie Duran began helping those struggling with basic needs such as food and shelter. Their ministry, Ministers of Fire, continues with a universal call to expand resource options for the less fortunate in Laclede County.
The first birth of the new year was welcomed at Mercy Hospital Lebanon at 1:18 a.m Monday.
Memphis Manthei was born to Josh and Brooke Manthei of Waynesville at the hospital. He has one brother.
“He’s a happy baby so far,” said Josh Manthei. “We’re mostly ready to go home.”
