50 years of Buckskin pride

Bolles, Ivey, Candock, Mullicane, Flag Pond, Weissgerber, Blackfoot and High Prairie.  Ask newcomers to the Lebanon area what these names have in common, and they might guess they are names found on street signs.
However, ask a long-time Laclede County resident or a history buff, and they will know those are the names of the little country schools that were consolidated into the Joel E. Barber C-5 District on Route KK in 1966.
Joel E. Barber is now 50 years old and celebrating with events spread throughout the year.
