The Missouri Pet Breeders Association held their 2017 Spring Educational Conference and Trade Show Friday and Saturday at the Cowan Civic Center. The two day event is designed as an educational purpose for breeders, kennel facilitators, and animal enthusiasts who want what’s best for their business and pets.
“I’m very surprised with this (event),” said pet owner Lily Henway. “I want what’s best for my pets. I wasn’t sure what this (event) was all about, but I met some nice people who helped me find some great stuff for (her puppy) Kibby.”
More than 400 people participated in the events Friday and Saturday with about 100 booths open for all things animals. While the booths were open and vendors on hand to answer any questions participants had, dozens of breeders from around the state gathered to listen to various speakers from across the nation about a variety of things all around pets.
