Commission approves I-44 improvements

The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission has approved repairs to Interstate 44 in Laclede and Crawford counties.
The commission announced Wednesday afternoon that it awarded the projects to the low bidder, Chester Bross Construction. The company will make repairs to I-44 for $1,089,480.
In Laclede County, repairs will be made to the east and west bound lanes between the Elm Street interchange and Missouri Route 133. In Crawford County, the eastbound lanes between Route H and Route ZZ will be repaired.
