Conway man killed in motorcycle wreck

A Conway man was killed after his motorcycle hit a deer at 5:07 p.m. Monday on Route J, five miles east of Conway.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Randall D. Robertson, 56, the driver of an eastbound 2006 Suzuki Motorcycle struck a deer then overturned and skidded off the right side of the roadway, striking a road sign and embankment before coming to rest.
The body was taken to Shadel’s Colonial Chapel in Lebanon.
Robertson had worked as a bus driver for the Laclede R-1 School District in Conway for several years.
Laclede County R-1 School Superintendent Mark Hedger said the school was offering counseling to students who rode on his route.
