A Lebanon woman found dead behind Sutherland’s Tuesday morning died of hypothermia, according to Laclede County Coroner Steve Murrell.
Murrell added that “no foul play” was involved in the death of Barbara L. McCoy, 52, of Lebanon. The Lebanon Police Department believes that McCoy was walking behind the retailer on her way to the Silverwood trailer park on Bland Avenue when she died either late Monday night or early Tuesday morning.
“It’s hard to tell when it exactly happened,” Murrell said.
On Monday evening into Tuesday morning the temperature dropped to a low of -7 degrees.
