The Lebanon Police Department is still investigating a fight that occurred Saturday between a truck driver, a member of a funeral procession and two other people.

At about 11:20 a.m. Saturday officers responded to the area near the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and Seventh Street in regard to a fight involving a weapon.

According to Lebanon Police Department Public Information Officer Det. Sgt. Kacie Springer, witnesses gave conflicting accounts of what took place, and police are still trying to determine what actually happened.

According to one account, the incident began when the truck driver was cutting off members of a funeral procession. The truck driver and a member of the funeral procession both left their vehicles at the same time. The truck driver allegedly pushed the funeral procession member, and then the funeral procession member allegedly punched the truck driver in the face before returning to his vehicle and driving away. The account says that the truck driver began to return to his vehicle, but another man took his shirt off, began “bouncing around” and punched the truck driver in the face.
