Gas prices rose in December, Lebanon prices below national average


Motorists in Lebanon were paying quite a bit less than the national average for gas.
The average fuel price in Lebanon the day after Christmas was $2.07 a gallon, according to This was .37 cents lower than the U.S. national average regular gas price of  $2.44.
Those prices are bit higher than they were a couple of years ago, but analysts expect them to decrease early in 2018.
Average retail gasoline prices in Missouri have risen 4.3 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.16 a gallon Monday, according to gasoline price website’s daily survey of 3,940 gas outlets in Missouri.
