A woman who answered her door with a knife was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
At about 10:36 p.m. Sunday a Lebanon Police officer responded to the 1300 block of East Route 66 in reference to a woman who appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance.
According to an incident report from the LPD, officers made contact with a 30-year-old Lebanon woman who said she noticed a 23-year-old woman from Springfield who appeared to be on drugs while she was going door to door in an apartment collecting rent for the week.
The woman said she knocked on the door and the suspect came to the door with a knife in her hand. Officers made contact with the suspect and gained consent to come inside the apartment to talk about the incident. While in the apartment, officers found a marijuana pipe in plain sight as well as several other items of contraband, the report says.
Officers placed the suspect under arrest and transported her to the Laclede County Jail. An officer later released the suspect with a summons to appear in Lebanon Municipal Court on April 20 for possession drug paraphernalia.
