Knight wins special election for House seat

Republican Jeff Knight won a decisive victory in the race to fill a vacant Missouri House seat in the 129th District.
Knight received a total of 2,153 votes in Laclede and Dallas counties, which are in the 129th district. His opponent, Democrat Ronna Ford, received a total of 973 votes.
In Laclede County, Knight garnered 1,168 votes, 67 percent.  Ford received 568 votes or 32 percent.
