A new installation at Boswell Park is intended to honor one man’s memory and ensure that parents and grandparents have a place to sit while their children and grandchildren enjoy the playground.

On Thursday, the Lebanon Host Lions Club dedicated three park benches to Lion Clem Korn, who died in March 2016.

Lion Debbie Cantrell explained that 2017 marks the Lions Club International’s 100th anniversary, and Lions Clubs across the globe are working on centennial projects. The Lebanon Host Lions decided to honor Korn with their project, and they chose park benches partly because Korn loved children and partly because the Lebanon Parks Department needed the benches.
