Local man busted with 8 pounds of marijuana

A Lebanon man is facing six felony charges after police found more than eight pounds of marijuana and nine firearms in his residence.

Adam J. Bishop, 33, was charged with one count  a class C felony of delivery of a controlled substance, one count of the class E felony of manufacturing 35 grams or less of marijuana or a synthetic cannabinoid and four counts of the class E felony of unlawful use of a weapon Monday.

At about 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, the Lebanon Police Department received a tip that Bishop had “a large amount” of marijuana at his residence, according to a press release from the police department.
