LPD aids LANEG in drug bust

Lebanon Police on Monday assisted the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group (LANEG) with a search warrant service.

Officers went to the 100 block of Brook Street at 2:13 p.m. to serve the warrant issued by the Laclede County Circuit Court. The target of the search warrant was identified as a 39-year-old Lebanon man, according to an LPD incident report.

During the course of the search, the suspect, his juvenile son and a 22-year-old Lebanon man were contacted inside the residence. Police said both adult suspects were detained for LANEG at the scene.

All evidence located at the scene was seized by LANEG, police said. The target suspect was transported to the Laclede County Jail by an officer.

The report does not indicate what if any drugs were located during the search.
