Man drives Jeep into store while arguing with a woman

A man arguing with a woman over his visiting a strip club accidentally struck the entrance to a local grocery store with his vehicle, according to a police report.

At about 5:07 p.m. Sunday, Lebanon Police officers responded to a report of property damage at Price Cutters that occurred when a Jeep bumped a door frame, but the man responsible had left the scene.

According the incident report, a passerby reported the vehicle involved was behind the Sheriff’s Office.

Officers located the suspect, a 27-year-old from St. Robert who reported he had been arguing with a 26-year-old St. Robert woman, who had screamed and yelled at him and would not get back in his vehicle.

He also stated he would discuss any property damage with Price Cutter management, the report said.

Police issued two citations to the man for driving while suspended and no insurance.

In another law enforcement report, an investigation by a Laclede County deputy into possible drug activity at the Red Fox Motel ended with the arrest of two suspects on active warrants.

According to the report filed by the deputy, the woman, who had a baggie of possible meth, had an Illinois warrant for probation violation with possession and or selling a stolen vehicle. She was also charged with possession of a controlled substance in Laclede County.

The man arrested had three warrants.
