Lebanon Police have a suspect in a series of fires Sunday evening. Police are investigating arson fires at four locations, beginning at about 6:20 p.m. Sunday, in the area of West Commercial Street and Springfield Road. The fires were set behind three businesses in the area. A vehicle parked on Taylor Street also was set on fire, according to Det. Sgt. Kacie Springer.

Lebanon Fire Chief Sam Schneider said none of the business buildings involved received serious damage, but a smaller structure was burned.

Schneider said firefighters were first called to West Commercial and before arriving on scene they were notified of a second fire in the same area.

In the 700 block of West Commercial, firefighters found a small aluminum outbuilding on fire next to a car body shop. They also discovered a fire behind D&L Furniture Store at Springfield Road and Commercial Street and were then told about another blaze behind W&W Tires on Springfield Road.
