A woman told Laclede County Sheriff’s deputies her purse was stolen from her car at the Gasconade River Thursday.

She said the car was parked at an access or road off the Interstate 44 mile marker 145 exit while she was fishing with her son.  She told deputies the vehicle was locked for all of about 10 minutes when she was carrying items to the river to fish with. She said the purse contained her driver’s license, her debit card and about $100 in cash.

In another sheriff’s report:

Vandalism was reported to the Conway Community building Sunday.

People arriving for a family reunion discovered broken glass and a rock on the floor. They said the building was last used Friday night. There was no other damage to the building, according to a Laclede County Sheriff’s deputy’s report. The double pane window was valued at $150 and a mini blind that was also damaged was valued at $20, the report said.
