Suspect issued drug citations

A Laclede County deputy arrested a man Wednesday who was searching for hardware.

According to the report filed, the deputy, suspicious of activity in the area at 2:01 a.m., investigated a truck parked behind the Buzz-Inn gas station.

The deputy observed the suspect digging around in the passenger side floor. The suspect stated he was looking for some bolts.

The deputy spotted a black object that the suspect identified as his marijuana pipe.

After a search, the deputy found a grinder with residue of possible marijuana.

He issued the suspect a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia, the report says.
