Two charged for stabbing, shooting man at a Springfield football game


The Springfield Police Department may have provided closure for those who witnessed the shooting at a Springfield high school football stadium.

The SPD arrested two people Tuesday in connection with the shooting of Christopher Jones at JFK Stadium as a Lebanon High School team played there on June 22.

According to the felony probable cause statement filed by SPD Tuesday, Jones knew his attackers and identified them as Dynisha Johnson and Tyreal Brown. He said that Johnson stabbed him and Brown shot him as he sat in the passenger seat of a Durango.
