Bank donates $38K to local charities

The First State Community Bank is donating $38,000 from its golf tournament to more than a dozen local charities.
The bank is donating the money as part of its “FSCB Gives Back” program. The $38,000 was split among 15 local charities.
“Our golf tournament is one of the greatest events in the community every year, and the impact we have in the community and all the people that we reach is just something that we’re so very proud of and we’re so pleased to do this,” Lebanon FSCB Market President Steve Hite said.
Executive Vice-President Pat McGinnis pointed out the bank’s emphasis on community.
“It is for our community. It’s definitely a wide array. It goes from kids to needy kids, seniors, all ages, all needs, and it’s just part of the community we felt like that is definitely what we’re about is our community. We’re a community bank, and that’s our people,” McGinnis said.
