Lois P. Windsor, 86, of Lebanon, died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017 in Springfield.
She was born Oct. 15, 1931, in Sparks, Nev. to Thomas Edward and Farien Penelope Axe Hopwood.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Thomas, and one grandson.
She worked hard all her life, usually having two full-time jobs and one part-time job, while raising her children. In later years she was a homemaker.
Lois was a member of Southern Heights Christian Church.
She is survived by three sons, Edward Windsor and his wife, Sharon, and Mark Windsor and his wife, Kathy, all of Lebanon, and Richard Windsor and his wife, Veda, of Sedalia; one daughter, Margaret O’Neal and her husband, David, of Camdenton; one brother, David Hopwood and his wife, Donna, of Blue Springs; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services for Lois P. Windsor will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017, in Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Jeff Henson officiating.
Burial will be in Lonesome Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. until service time also on Saturday at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to Lonesome Hill Cemetery or Southern Heights Christian Church and donations can be left at or mailed to Shadel’s Colonial Chapel, P.O. Box 948, Lebanon, Mo. 65536.
