Agnes Virginia Jackson, 96, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, in Lebanon.
She was born Dec. 16, 1921, in Falcon, Mo. to William Eligh and Stella Ivona Munholland Anderson.
On April 14, 1946, she married Carl Emerson Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers, Stanley and Don Anderson; one sister, Maxine Pelfrey; a son-in-law, Dennis Cauley, and one granddaughter, Kristi Cauley.
Agnes worked for H.D. Lee Company for many years until her retirement in 1986.
Survivors include one son, Carl Edward “Eddie’’ Jackson, of Richland; three daughters, Kay Roam and her husband, David, of Richland; Carolyn Cauley, of Montreal and Carlene Jackson, of Richland; six grandchildren, Elaine “Nikki’’ Petterson and her husband, Jannik, Tyler David Roam and his wife, Amanda, Dennis Cauley Jr. and his wife, Tina, Tim Cauley and his wife, Lori, Roderick “Rod’’ Sherrer and his wife, Cheryl, and Mandy R. Sherrer; 12 great-grandchildren, BrookLynne Petterson, Madison Petterson, Jenson Petterson, Chris Cauley and his wife, Amanda, Kevin Cauley and his wife, Kelsey, Kim Cauley, Curtis Cauley and his wife, Erica, Luke Cauley and his wife, Savannah, Desiree Sherrer, Trista Sherrer, Isaiah Sherrer, Jordan Williams; four great-great-grandchildren, Payton, Blake, Bristol, and Locklan Cauley; other relatives and many friends.
A graveside service and burial for Agnes Virginia Jackson will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Richland, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to Southwest Missouri Humane Society and donations can be left at or mailed to Shadel’s Colonial Chapel, P.O. Box 948, Lebanon, Mo. 65536.
