Karen Lanette Jameson, 48, of Marshfield, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2017, at her home.
She was born Aug. 29, 1969 to Victor and Shirley (Biggers) Cantrell.
On June 2, 1990 she married Jamie Jameson, and they were blessed with two children, Wade Garrett and Allysen Nicole.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Victor Cantrell; stepfather, Sonny Harris, and two nieces, Melissa and Michelle Cantrell.
In the summer of 2015, Karen accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior and enjoyed attending Black Oak Freewill Baptist Church.
Karen was lovingly nicknamed “NUB’’ by her father, a name often used up until her passing.
She is survived by her husband, Jamie Jameson; two children, Wade and Allysen Jameson; her mother, Shirley Harris; one brother, Rick Cantrell and wife, Hope; two sisters, Vickie Replogle and husband, Johnny and Tammy Marlin and husband, Steve, all of Marshfield; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gale and Cecily Jameson, of Marshfield; brother-in-law, Jack Jameson and wife, Ann and their children, Ella and Max, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; sister-in-law, Christine Woodbine and husband, Rob, of Denver, Colo., along with many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Karen Lanette Jameson will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, at Day Funeral Home in Marshfield.
Visitation was scheduled from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Autism Society and left in care of the funeral home.
