Everett L. Barker Sr., 71, of Lebanon, died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, in Lebanon.
He was born Sept. 18, 1946, in Loring, Mo. to Orval and Edna Climer Barker.
On Dec. 15, 1972, he married Betty Porter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Charles Barker, and one sister, Vera Barker.
Everett L. Barker Sr. worked for H.D. Lee Company as a supervisor for 30 years, and Roadway in Springfield for 35 years.
He is survived by his wife, Betty, of the home; one son, Leon Barker; one stepdaughter, Natasha Norris and her husband, Chuck, all of Lebanon; one brother, Jerry Barker and his wife, Dianna, of Grovespring; one sister, Judy Kerb and her husband, Richard, of Conway; three grandchildren, Jesse Barker, Krystne Barker and Kassandra Fuhrer; three great-grandchildren, Kayde Fuhrer, Anna and Allie Barker; three special great-grandchildren, raised as their own, Bre, Caleb and Lovenna Robbins.
Funeral services for Everett L. Barker Sr. will be held at a later date. At his request, his body is to be cremated under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.  Burial will be at a later date at Little Vine Cemetery in Grovespring.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the family of Everett L. Barker Sr. or American Cancer Society and donations can be left at or mailed to Shadel’s Colonial Chapel, P.O. Box 948, Lebanon, Mo. 65536.
