Clara Rhoads, 81, of Falcon, died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018, in Falcon.
She was born Jan. 28, 1937, in Wright County, Mo. to George William and Ada Marie Brown Goldinger.
On July 3, 1955, she married Lester Jewell Rhoads.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Frances Stewart; an infant sister and two grandsons, Nickolas Wanner and Isaiah Rhoads.
Clara retired from H.D. Lee in 2010, after 38 years of service.
She was a member of Sunnyview Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Lester Jewell Rhoads; one son, Johnny Rhoads, of Falcon; three daughters, Kathy Elaine Rhoads, Carla Jean Rhoads and Peggy Davenport, all of Falcon; one brother, Bill Goldinger, of Hannibal; two sisters, Marian Blankenship and Judy Ruble and her husband, David, all of Lebanon; six grandchildren, John Rhoads, Matthew Rhoads, Kayla Davis, Stephanie Brumley, Tyler Knudtson and Ashley Dickey; 10 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Clara Rhoads will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5, 2018, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Bruce Doublin officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Salem Cemetery under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Monday, prior to the service at 2 p.m. also at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
