Ronald Thomas Murhammer, 83, of Lebanon, died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018, at Mercy Hospital Lebanon.
He was born July 7, 1934, in Salem, Ore. to Thomas Joseph Murhammer and Maybelle (Lynch) Murhammer.
On May 11, 1985, he married Fern Marie Rhoads.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Joyce Stanford; son, Randy Greenwood, and a grandson, Bradley Clark Ross.
Ronald served two years in the Navy and after being honorably discharged, he was then employed with General Motors for 35 years before retiring. He loved playing cards, wood working, classic cars, watching the Price is Right, and he especially loved sausage biscuits from McDonald’s.
He is survived by his wife, Fern; children, Debbie Ross (Phil), Mike Greenwood (Frankie), April Hollinger (Brian), Melissa Turner (Dale), Carole Sinang (Jose), a daughter-in-law, Liz Greenwood, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and his beloved dog, Abby.
Graveside memorial services for Ronald Thomas Murhammer will be held at a later date at Old Bolles Cemetery in Lebanon. His care has been entrusted to Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Ltd. DeGraffenreid-Wood Crematory.
