Weekend swap meet is a 'gas' for vintage memorabilia collectors

The “It’s a Gas” swap meet at the Cowan Civic Center in Lebanon went on according to schedule this weekend until  it ended early because of Saturday’s ice storm.
The event drew one vendor from the Empire State who braved Missouri’s winter in order to display his collectibles.
John Mancino, automobile and related antique buyer and seller, among other business, was on hand from Bouckville, N.Y. for the swap meet event, which curtailed its Saturday hours because of already falling frozen precipitation that began earlier that morning. Most vendors were packing and heading out  before 11 a.m.
According to the It’s a Gas website, the swap meet deals with Petrolania, which is “all things associated with the gas and oil collector’s hobby, including good advertising, nostalgia, … vintage toys and other related items.”
