Alice Mae Bradish

Alice Mae Bradish, 83, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017, in Lebanon.

She was born Sept. 3, 1934, in Richland, Mo. to Chester Dodge and Laura Wilsie Knieriam Gifford.

Alice married Earl Cross in 1957, Frank Strain in 1975, and Stan Bradish in 2002.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl Cross in 1985; husband Frank Strain in 1990, and husband Stan Bradish in 2011; four brothers, John, Elmer, Merlin, and Paul Gifford; six sisters, RoseMary Graham, Edna Gifford, Margaret Larkin, Ada Payne, Ida Cook and Dorothy Berry.

Alice was a waitress at Satellite Cafe. She then graduated from LPN School in 1969 in Joplin. She became a nurse at Wallace-Rowen Hospital, which later became Breech Medical Center.

She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Charles Cross, of Greenfield; Roger Cross, of Las Vegas, Nev., and Norman Cross, of Lebanon; one daughter, Lois Knab, of Lebanon; one sister, Esther O’Dell, of Springfield; seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services for Alice Mae Bradish will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.

Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Friday also at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
