Carolyn Ann Carmack, 75, of rural Warrensburg, died Saturday, March 3, 2018, at her home.
She was born June 15, 1942, in Falcon, Mo., the daughter of Irma Lee Morehouse.
Carolyn graduated from Lebanon High School in 1960 then moved to Raytown with her mother and her grandparents.
On June 17, 1963 she married Ronald L. Carmack.
She worked as a waitress at the Copper Kettle then at Safeway in Raytown until 1991 when she and Ron bought a farm and moved to Warrensburg. She worked at Farm and Home until she retired in 2004. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald; two sons, Ronald L. Carmack Jr. and wife, Glenda, of Warrensburg; Rodney Carmack and wife, Shannon, of Lone Jack; a daughter, Carolyn Chambers, of Warrensburg; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother and grandparents, Louis and Stella Cloud.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 9, 2018, at Harmony Baptist Church in Leeton with John Phillips officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. at Brooking Cemetery in Raytown, under the direction of Newcomer’s Floral Hills Funeral Home of Kansas City.
