Clifford H. Himelhan, 93, of Phillipsburg, died Sunday evening, Dec. 3, 2017, in Phillipsburg.
He was born Dec. 4, 1923, in Stran, Iowa to Frank H. and Irma M. Carper Himelhan.
Early in his life he married Agnes Robertson Himelhan who died several years ago. On Oct. 10, 1987, he married Alice Faye Lightwine Hackler.
He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother, Robert Himelhan, and a sister, Shirley Hoock.
Clifford was born and raised in Iowa and then moved with his family to Phillipsburg, Mo. in 1933. He then made his home on the family farm and worked the farm throughout his life.
He made his profession of faith in Christ early in his life and attended Phillipsburg Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Alice, of the home; two stepchildren, Kelly D. Hackler, of Phillipsburg and Sandra Leigh Huffman, of Springfield; several step-grandchildren; a brother, Frank Himelhan Jr., of Lyons, Ohio, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Clifford H. Himelhan will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017, in Holman-Howe Funeral Home with Bobbi Himelhan Meyer and the Rev. Elvin Bohannon officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery near Phillipsburg under the care and direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.
Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
Memorial donations to the Curry Cancer Center at Mercy Hospital or Mount Zion Cemetery may be made through the funeral home.
