Donnie Lee Stone, 57, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, March 7, 2018, in Lebanon.
He was born July 28, 1960, in Topeka, Kan. to Oliver Lee Stone and Florence Bernice Stroud.
Donnie was preceded in death by his parents; great-grandson; one nephew, one great nephew, and a sister-in-law, Trisha Penwell.
He worked for the City of Lebanon and Copeland in Lebanon. He enjoyed his family and being outdoors gardening and fishing.
Survivors include one son, Jamie Waterman and his wife, Kelcey, of Lebanon; two daughters, Deana Spradling and husband, Tom, of Lebanon, and Sherry Mansker, of Lebanon; six brothers, Oliver Stone and his wife, RoAnn, of Lebanon; John Seyb, of Lebanon; Hershel Marker, of Arkansas, Kan.; Steven Proffit, of Sycamore, Kan.; Robert Penwell, of LeRoy, Kan. and David Penwell and his wife, Echo, of Marion, Kan.; two sisters, Mary Scally, of Peabody, Kan. and Patricia Panzer, of Lawrence, Kan.; three grandchildren, Michael Spradling, Daniel Spradling, and Breeze Spradling; four great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Spradling, Koda Spradling, Marley Spradling, and Kaden Sterwt, and a host of nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Graveside services and burial for Donnie Lee Stone will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2018, in Peppers Cemetery in Windyville, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
Visitation will begin at noon on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel until time of departure for cemetery.
Memorials have been suggested to Donnie Stone’s family for expenses and donations can be left at or mailed to Shadel’s Colonial Chapel, P.O. Box 948, Lebanon, Mo. 65536.
