Elaine Kennerknecht, 68, of Bland, died Feb. 26, 2017, at Silverstone Place Nursing Home.
She was born Aug. 30, 1948, in Washington, Mo. to Stanley Rodgers and Erma Jean Creek.
Elaine was preceded in death by her mother, Erma, father, Stanley; and her oldest daughter’s longtime boyfriend, Tim Woods.
She worked many years as an office professional, wedding and birthday cake creator, and seamstress.
Survivors include two daughters, Amy Kennerknecht, of Sanford, Fla. and Erma Kennerknecht York, of Rolla and husband, Robbie York, of Milenocket, Maine; a son, Eddie Kennerknecht and partner, James Kelly, of Orono, Maine; two sisters, Marla Stephenson and husband, Duane, of Falcon and Ruby Greenlee and husband, Jerry, of Puxico, Mo.; two brothers, George (Bud) Rodgers, of Belle; Billy Joe Rodgers and wife, Kay, of Tulsa, Okla.; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and a number of great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for Elaine Kennerknecht will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2017, at Crossroads Baptist Church in Bland.
