Gregory (Greg) Allen Rogers, 54, of Hartville, formerly of Green Forest, Ark., died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017 at his home.
He was born Feb. 17, 1963 in Harrison, Ark. to Thomas and Virginia (Cone) Rogers, who preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by one brother, Steven Rogers.
Greg grew up in the Carrollton, Ark. area and attended Green Forest Schools. He was employed as a dispatcher for E-Transport Carriers out of Missouri. He loved to hunt, ride his motorcycle and spend time outdoors. He loved becoming a “grandpa’’ and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Paula Rogers, of Hartville; two daughters, Keisha Doss along with her children, Hunter and Perry Doss, of Springdale, Ark. and Whitney Rogers, of Green Forest, Ark.; stepchildren, Joslin, Jacob, Jasmine and Jenna along with their seven children; three brothers, Eddie Rogers and wife, Joyce, of Berryville, Ark.; Kevin Rogers, of Green Forest, Ark. and Doug Rogers, of Berryville, Ark.
A Celebration of Life graveside service for Gregory (Greg) Allen Rogers will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017, at Keesee Cemetery out of Lead Hill, Ark. with Brother David Maybe officiating.
Burial will follow in Keesee Cemetery, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home of Marshfield.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest, Ark.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial trust fund has been established at First National Bank of North Arkansas.
