Keneth (Ken) Davenport, 79, of Lebanon, died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, in Springfield.
He was born Feb. 10, 1938, in Laclede County, Mo. to Alvie Raymond and Bertha Alice (Gallion) Davenport
Ken was preceded in death by his grandparents, Oscar and Ollie Gallion and William and Cora Davenport; his parents; one brother, Donald Gene Davenport, and a stepdaughter, Marlene Scull.
He was owner and operator of D & D Heating and Cooling.
Ken was a member of Independence Baptist Church.
He is survived by two sons, Brian Davenport, of Lebanon; Tracy Davenport (Mandy), of Richland; a stepdaughter, Melissa Doyle (Don), of Virginia; several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, including Riggs Schierding, raised in the home; three sisters, Ethel Mae Boyer, of Lebanon; Evelyn Kay Lackey (Sheldon), of Springfield and Donna Fay Harris, of Lebanon; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Keneth (Ken) Davenport will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Craig Perry and Jay Browning officiating.
Burial will be in Hazelgreen Cemetery, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday until service time at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
