Norma D. Allen, 89, of Lebanon, died Friday, Nov. 3, 2017, in her home near Lebanon.
She was born Sept. 24, 1928, in Midwest, Wyo. to H.R. and Maggie Cox Lillard.
On April 23, 1950, she married George Thomas Allen.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George, on Dec. 13, 2016, and two brothers, Lowell E and Rev. R.W. Lillard.
Norma was raised in Wyoming and then moved with her family to Lebanon when she was four years old. She lived most of her adult years in Lebanon except from 1976 until 1989, when she followed her husband to California. While there, she worked for the Good Shepherd Home for the Disabled. After returning to Lebanon, she worked at the Laclede Development Center until retiring at the age of 80 years old. She also was a devoted homemaker to her family.
She was a charter member of Mount Olivet Assembly of God and possessed a deep abiding faith in her Lord and Savior.
Survivors include a daughter, Sheila Allen, of Lebanon; a grandson, Kris Allen, of Lebanon; two great-grandchildren, Forrest and Skylar Allen; one great-great-grandson, Korbin Sanders; a sister, Linda Lambert, of Lebanon, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Norma D. Allen will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017, in Mount Olivet Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Ken Markley officiating.
Burial will be at a later date in Mount Rose Memorial Park, under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.
Visitation will be immediately following the service in the church.
