Rev. James Edward Routh, 96, of Guntersville, Ala., formerly of Pulaski County, died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017, in his son’s home in Guntersville.

He is survived by three children, Jimmy Routh (Linda), of Dixon; David Routh (Shirley), of Guntersville, Ala., and Phyllis Fritzel (Robert), of Guntersville, Ala.; six grandchildren, Christopher Routh, Daren Routh, Janice Rujawitz, Jennifer Bailey, Robin Smiley and Wendy Holcombe; 15 great-grandchildren; his brother Donald Routh, of Brumley; a number of nieces and nephews, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Rev. James Edward Routh will be held at noon Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017 in Crocker Assembly of God Church. Burial with full military honors will follow in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Fort Leonard Wood in Waynesville, under the direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.

A memorial has been established in memory of Rev. James Routh to the Assembly of God Church and contributions may be left at the funeral home.
