Rhonda Mae Plassmeyer, 66, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017, in Lebanon.
She was born March 31, 1951, in Owensville,  Mo. to Otto and Velma Bock Koepke, who preceded her in death.
On Aug. 7, 1976, she married David Plassmeyer.
She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and taught at Esther Elementary, where she retired in 2006. The students she had in kindergarten are now seniors this year.
Rhonda was a member of St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, David; children, Jenny Collins and her husband, Wes, of Lebanon; Jill Oetting and her husband, Ryan, of O’Fallon, and Jared Plassmeyer and his wife, Carrie, of Lebanon; one brother, Ron Koepke and his wife, “Andy’’, of Chicago, Ill.; two sisters, Cheryl Bennett and her husband, John, of O’Fallon and Charlene Koepke and Kevin Corrigan, of Chesterfield; nine grandchildren, Jaidyn, Addy, Levi, and Reid Collins, Conner, Khloe, Kinsley, and Kyla Oettting, and Ben Plassmeyer; other relatives and many dear friends.
Funeral services for Rhonda Mae Plassmeyer will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, at St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church with Father David Miller officiating.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
