Wayne Leo Melching, 70, of Lebanon, died Thursday morning, Feb. 1, 2018, in his home.
He was born May 31, 1947, to Wyman and Helen Duester Melching, who preceded him in death.
In 1978 he married Karen Schad.
He was born in Illinois and moved to the Lebanon area in 2012. He worked construction doing concrete work most of his life.
Wayne was an active member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Lebanon. Church was his life and he was very active in all phases of the church. He also shared his love of Christ with others through the nursing home ministry.
Survivors include two sons, Raymond H. Melching and John Wayne Melching, both of Illinois, and two brothers, Stanley and Glenn Melching.
Funeral services for Wayne Leo Melching will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018, at Holman-Howe Funeral Home with Pastor David Brown and Pastor Bradley Jemes officiating, under the care and direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.
Visitation will follow the service at Holman-Howe Funeral Home.
A memorial has been established and can be made at Holman-Howe Funeral Home.
