Lebanon to face Rock Bridge today in Class 5 playoffs

The Lebanon girls’ basketball team will be playing in its first state playoff game since 2004 today when the Yellowjackets travel to State Fair Community College to square off against the Rock Bridge Bruins.
 
Lebanon (23-5), ranked No. 8 in the latest Missouri Class 5 poll, matched its season record for wins on Saturday when the Yellowjackets defeated Waynesville, 41-32, to capture the Missouri Class 5 District 10 championship.
 
In that contest, Jaiden Offutt and Kelsey Winfrey each scored 13 points, while Faith Alwardt added eight.
 
Wednesday, LHS will square off agaisnt a Rock Bridge team that handed the ‘Jackets a 70-36 defeat in the third-place game of the Pink and White tournament in December.
