On their Senior Night, the Lebanon boys’ soccer team defeated the Hillcrest Hornets, 9-0.

In what has been an up-and-down season for the LHS soccer team, the ‘Jackets were able to capitalize on plenty of opportunities to secure the Ozark Conference win.

Lebanon got off to a quick start, scoring four goals in the first half and added five more in the second.

The Yellowjackets got goals from Zach and Christian Richards (two goals each), Tristen Meints, Andrew Mills, Kaleb Hooper, Cyrus Murray and Cody Smith.

LHS honored 10 seniors after the win on Tuesday, including Nick Wright, Christian Richards, Cody Smith, Tristen Meints, Kaleb Hooper, Noah Chaffin, Cyrus Murray, Andrew Mills and Alec Shoemaker.

Due to the numbers on the Hillcrest team, no JV game was played.

Lebanon will travel to Glendale today, and will host Parkview on Tuesday, October 10 at home.

The ‘Jackets received the No. 4 seed in the Missouri Class 4 District 9 boys’ soccer tournament and will play the No. 1 seed Kickapoo Chiefs on October 24 at Waynesville High School.
