KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Lebanon senior Dylan Rodden is taking over a key spot in the middle of the Lebanon batting order this season and has proved to be a steady hand at first base through the ‘Jackets first four games played this week at ESPN Disney Wide World of Sports in Kissimmee, Fla.

Rodden batted clean-up in all four games and was 2 for 3 in the ‘Jackets’ first win with five RBIs, including a bases loaded double that scored three runs as part of a 12-run inning against Charlotte Country Day (N.C.) on Sunday.

He is one of several players who is stepping into new varsity roles after the ‘Jackets graduated 11 seniors from last year’s team.

The Daily Record caught up with Rodden and asked him about his senior season.
