Senior Hawkins a key member of Bears baseball

CONWAY — One year after winning a district title, the Conway Bears are off to a 6-3 start this season thanks to a strong senior class that includes infielder Tyler Hawkins.

A second baseman, Hawkins has taken over a starting spot for head coach Clay Bilyeu and has proven to be a reliable infielder.

He and senior teammate Brett Neal both have plans to attend Northwest Missouri State University after graduation.

The Daily Record caught up with Hawkins asked him about his senior season.
