JAMES R. LATIMER

James R. Latimer, 94, longtime banker, farmer and community leader, of Hartville, died Wednesday evening, Feb. 22, 2017, in Hartville Care Center in Hartville.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia, of the home; a son, Larue Latimer and his wife, Pam, of Hartville; a daughter, Janet Carriger and her husband, Earl, of Grovespring; two granddaughters, a great-grandson, three great-granddaughters, three step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.

MARY ELIZABETH “BETSY’’ FINLEY

Finley, 58, of Lebanon, a longtime business instructor at Conway High School, died Friday, Feb. 24, 2017, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

She had taught junior high computers, computer applications, high school accounting, and was the adviser to the FBLA Club at Conway High School.

Betsy was an active member of Heritage Baptist Church in Lebanon.

She was preceded in death by a son, Spc. James M. Finley, who was killed in Afghanistan in 2008 while serving in the U.S. Army.

Marie Eberhard, 61, of St. Robert, died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017, in her home.
